Credits, kitchens, and how the plans work.
- 01What is a Credit?
- Credits are the unit image.cooking uses to measure generation costs. Create shows the exact Credit cost for the model and settings you've selected before you start. The quoted amount is charged when the generation begins.
- 02What does every Kitchen plan include?
- Every Kitchen plan includes the same Create workspace and the same core capabilities: all available image models, prompts and reference images, aspect ratio, resolution, output count, a private library in My Creations, and full-resolution downloads. The plans differ only in how many Credits you receive each month.
- 03How much does a generation cost?
- The cost depends on the model and settings you choose, including resolution, output count, and whether a reference image is used. Create shows the exact Credit cost before you generate.
- 04Do the Kitchen plans include different models?
- No. Home, Chef, and Studio provide access to the same image models and controls. Your plan determines how many Credits you receive, not which models you can use.
- 05Do unused Credits roll over?
- Kitchen Credits refresh each month. Unused Credits from the previous kitchen month are removed when the next month's allowance arrives. Credits already in your balance from outside a kitchen stay until a generation spends them. A monthly kitchen adds its allowance at each renewal. A yearly kitchen adds one month of its allowance at a time across the prepaid year.
- 06What happens when I run out of Credits?
- Create continues to show the Credit cost for each generation. A generation can only start when your available balance is enough to cover the quoted cost. You can check your current balance from Account.
- 07Where do finished images go?
- Completed images are saved to My Creations and are private to your account. You can review your creations there and download the full-resolution files. An image is shown on the homepage only if you submit it and it passes review.
- 08Can I use reference images?
- Yes, for models that support reference images. You can upload a reference image or choose one from My Creations. When a supported model uses a reference image, any applicable reference-image cost is included in the Credit quote before you generate.
- 09Can I try the same idea with more than one model?
- Yes. Stay in Create, switch models, and run the idea again. Each generation is priced separately based on the model and settings you choose.
- 10How does yearly billing work?
- The yearly price is billed once at the start. Credits arrive one month at a time. Unused kitchen Credits from the previous month are removed when the next month arrives. The prepaid year includes twelve of those monthly allowances.
- 11Can I use my generated images commercially?
- Yes. Paid Kitchen plans include commercial use of all generated images across all available models, subject to our Terms. That use continues while the kitchen is active, and until the end of a period that is already paid. Free or starter usage is limited to personal and non-commercial use.
- 12Who owns the images I generate?
- image.cooking does not claim ownership of your prompts, uploads, or generated images. However, the rights you may have in generated content can depend on applicable law and other relevant terms. We do not guarantee that any output is unique, non-infringing, or eligible for copyright protection.
